"For T.H2, the meeting with Ineratec, a German manufacturer of bio-SAF (Sustainable aviation fuels), was decisive. Its process makes it possible to create smaller plants, better suited to our region and our possibilities. Thanks to this partnership, T.H2 is aiming to produce 13,000 tonnes of bioethanol, along with co-products (naphthas and paraffins)", Vincent Calleja, Managing Director of T.H2, told News Tank on 09/04/2026.

He looks back at the joint venture between the German cleantech company and T.H2, a dedicated bio-SAF producer based in the port area of Caen, announced on 28/03/2026. The partnership will see the installation of a plant to produce bio-ethanol (which can be converted into SAF), naphthas and paraffins from wood waste generated in the surrounding area.

The Managing Director of Tertu, which specialises in the production of wood-metal motorway guardrails, says that his company "generates two semi-trailers of wood chips a day".
