Plume raises €3.3m to develop an AI solution for the deployment of renewable energies

Plume, a Franco-American AI start-up dedicated to the development of renewable energies, founded in 2024 by Édouard Labarthe (ex-Palantir) and Marc Watine (ex-Harvard researcher in geospatial and AI), has announced a €3.3m fundraising round on 09/04/2026.

"This first round of funding will finance the expansion of the team, the launch of new European markets and the next phases of the platform: stakeholder mapping, AI-based competitive intelligence and automated drafting of permit applications," announces the company. "The company is recruiting in the fields of AI systems, geospatial engineering and energy analytics," it adds.

"Our AI agents synthesise structured geospatial data and unstructured regulatory information to produce clear territorial intelligence, helping developers move faster, while selecting projects with the highest probability of achieving construction," explains co-founder Édouard Labarthe.
