FR / PPE3: launch of the solar PV, onshore wind and offshore wind calls for tender

Presentation of the PPE 3 RE tenders on 02/04/2026 -

Two invitations to tender for solar PV will be launched in July 2026, covering 288 MWp for small-scale PV and 925 MWp for large-scale installations; an invitation to tender for onshore wind power of 800 MW will be launched in May 2026; the AO9 and AO10 invitations to tender will be merged into a single procedure covering the four maritime coasts (10 GW, including 5 GW of floating wind power), with the first winners to be selected by early 2027: these were some of the main announcements made by Roland Lescure, French Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty, and Maud Bregeon, French Minister Delegate in charge of Energy, on 02/04/2026.

"This timetable will not change", says Maud Bregeon. "When we receive the Lévy-Tuot report, we will incorporate the measures that we can as we go along."

"We want tenders to be issued as far as possible using our technologies, our plants and our employees. We are therefore developing the calls for tender so that they are more consistent with the development of our industrial sectors by integrating resilience…
