Reju: €135 million financing from the Dutch NIKI programme for a site at the Chemelot Industrial Park

Reju has been awarded €135 million in financing under the Dutch Nationale Investeringsregeling Klimaatprojecten Industrie (NIKI) programme for the deployment of a textile-to-textile regeneration hub in the Netherlands, the Technip Energies subsidiary announced on 01/04/2026.

The financing obtained will support the deployment of this Regeneration Hub at the Chemelot Industrial Park in Sittard-Geleen, covering "both the investment phase and ongoing operations, and is a decisive step towards the final investment decision (FID)", says Reju.

Thanks to Reju's technology, the industrial site will be able to "transform difficult-to-recycle polyester-containing textiles into high-quality circular intermediates for the production of new polyester", from post-consumer textiles that would otherwise become waste.

The resulting material will then be reintroduced into downstream supply chains, where it will be transformed into yarns and fabrics ready for final consumer applications.
