Call for experts' application to form the Water Resilience Stakeholder Platform open until 17/04/2026

The European Commission has launched a call for applications for experts to form the Water Resilience Stakeholder Platform on 20/03/2026, open until 17/04/2026. This platform of up to 60 members aims to "support the implementation of the EU Water Resilience Strategy" and "create a sustainable, resilient, smart and competitive water-economy in Europe" for a five-year term.

The objectives of the Water Resilience Strategy include ensuring access to clean and affordable water for all, restoring and protecting the water cycle, improving water efficiency, accelerating innovation and investment in sustainable water management and building a "water-smart" economy.

"Water resilience is key to our health, security and prosperity", declares Jessika Roswall, Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy.
