UK: Launch of the initiative "Circularity in Practice" in Manchester in the presence of King Charles III

The initiative "Circularity in Practice" was launched on 16/03/2026 at the Renew Hub Greater Manchester in the presence of King Charles III, has announced the UK Royal Family through its official website.

"Delivered by a taskforce of leading UK businesses, Circularity in Practice’s core mission is to reduce, reuse, repurpose and remanufacture building materials and household goods, avoiding the unnecessary additional use of natural resources", it explains.

The initiative, supported by the British Chambers of Commerce, aims to unite businesses and experts across different sectors in order to offer practical circular solutions rooted in everyday life.

The Renew Hub in Manchester is the "UK's largest reuse and repair facility", launched by SUEZ in 2021. Its purpose is to "take the waste generated in Greater Manchester, upcycle, fix and refurbish it to create economic, environmental and social value."
