FR / DGEC: Marie-Anne Bechereau Head of the Electricity System, Energy Programming and Networks Office

Marie-Anne Bechereau has been appointed head of the Electricity System, Energy Programming and Electricity Networks Office at the Directorate-General for Energy and Climate, the French public governmental office announced on 18/03/2026. She replaces Florian Leduc, who has held the post since May 2022.

Marie-Anne Bechereau was previously Director of the Territorial Support Programme at the SGPE (Secrétariat Général à la Planification Ecoologique), a post she has held since September 2024. She was also Deputy Director for Climate at the French public investment bank Bpifrance between April 2022 and September 2023.

The Electricity System, Energy Programming and Electricity Networks Office is attached to the DGEC's Sub-Directorate for the Electricity System and Renewable Energies.
