Landfills2Landmarks Summit to take place from 18 to 22/05/2026 in Accra (Ghana)

Landfills2Landmarks organises a five-day Summit, which will take place in Accra (Ghana) from 18 to 22/05/2025. It will "bring together public authorities, trade institutions, and private sector leadership to examine cross-border clothing trade through downstream evidence, standards alignment, and accountable investment pathways", say the organisers.

Three objectives are at the core of this event:
• supporting policy clarity, with over 15 governmental and regulatory institutions attending;
• developing trade integrity, in the presence of stakeholders, like trade and market associations, brands and producer representatives;
• developing the infrastructure, building on the knowledge of data and standards experts and gathering investors and development actors.

"By meeting in Accra, participants engage directly with local and regional market systems and the institutions shaping post-export outcomes", affirm the global platform for sustainability in the fashion and textile industries.
