H2SITE: Javier Cavada is appointed as new Chairman

Javier Cavada is appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of H2SITE, announces the technology company delivering hydrogen production and separation solutions, on 17/03/2026.

He will succeed Asier Rufino, at this position since 2020, who will continue to support H2SITE as a member of the Board of Directors.

Javier Cavada started his career as a Technical manager at Bosch. Then, he joined Wärtsilä as production manager. He had several leading positions, including VP South Europe and Africa, and president of the Energy division.

Next, he became President and CEO of Highview Power. Since 2021, he has been President and CEO of Mitsubishi Power EMEA.
