UN Climate change: a call for contributions related to two roadmaps announced by COP30 Brazil Presidency

United Nations Climate Change "has launched a call for contributions related to the two Roadmaps announced by the COP30 Brazil Presidency", declared Ana Toni, CEO of the Brazilian COP30, on Linkedin on 03/03/2026.

This roadmaps are derived "from the First Global Stocktake of the Paris Agreement", adopted during COP 28 in Dubai in 2023.
• one on "transitioning away from Fossil fuels in a just, orderly and equitable manner" :
• another on "halting and reversing deforestation and forest degradation by 2030".

"While these initiatives do not derive from a negotiated mandate and are being undertaken under my responsibility, I am firmly convinced that they must be pursued in an inclusive, participatory, and transparent manner, and that these roadmaps can help us identify practical options for implementing the goals we have already agreed", the COP30 president, André Corrêa do Lago said.
