Eneco: Martijn Hagens appointed CEO

Martijn Hagens took up his position as President and CEO of Eneco on 02/03/2026, the Dutch energy supplier said on the same day. His appointment had been announced by the Board of Directors on 23/08/2025

He replaces Kees Jan Rameau, who had been acting chairman since July 2025, following the decision by As Templeman, CEO since July 2020, to join lighting specialist Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) in September 2025.

Martijn Hagens had been Senior vice president and Head of Markets at Vattenfall since January 2024 and CEO of Vattenfall Netherlands since November 2019. He joined the Group in 2003.
