France: call for projects launched for the 5^th National Resilience Day

The call for projects for the 5^th National Resilience Day will be launched by the French Government on 02/03/2026. The aim is to "encourage as many local initiatives as possible, both in mainland France and overseas".

"This inter-ministerial initiative will run throughout the year, culminating on 13/10/2026, the date of the United Nations International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction".

The proposed projects must meet at least one of the three following objectives:
• developing a culture of natural and technological risks;
• preparing communities for the occurrence of a disaster;
• and developing collective resilience in the face of risk".

Project promoters will be able to submit their applications until 10/12/2026, in order to obtain the "Face aux risques, agissons" label, which may be accompanied by financial support.

In addition to this label, the projects that are "the most innovative or the most effective in terms of impact" may be awarded a "National Resilience Day" prize, provided that these applications are submitted before 10/09.
