PUR: Daniel Klier appointed CEO to lead "the next phase of growth of a pioneer of Nature-Based Solutions"

Daniel Klier is appointed Chief Executive Officer of PUR, effective from 01/03/2026, announced the company on 24/02/2026. He will lead "the next phase of growth of a pioneer in Nature-Based Solutions", said the soon-to-be new CEO.

PUR "generates verified carbon reductions and carbon credits that help corporates reduce supply chain emissions through high-integrity insetting and climate contributions within and beyond their own value chains, while improving soil health, water resources, and long-term farm productivity".

Graduated from the London School of Economics, the University of St. Gallen, and Columbia Business School, Daniel Klier joined McKinsey as a partner serving financial institutions and private equity in 2005. In 2013, he became Group Head of Strategy at HSBC, then Global Head of Sustainable Finance and Group General Manager.

From 2021 to 2024, he was CEO of ESG Book. Then, he joined South Pole as CEO and co-chair of the Advisory Board.
