FR / Adaptation: 80% of PNACC3 measures launched (1^st annual review, presented by Monique Barbut)

"Since the publication of the 3^rd National Climate Change Adaptation Plan (PNACC3) in March 2025, 80% of the actions have been launched. Although the state of progress varies from one measure to another, this highlights the momentum that has been created, which should be maintained", stated the office of the Minister for Ecological Transition, Monique Barbut, on 18/02/2026.

This statement was made ahead of the Minister's presentation, on 19/02, of the first annual assessment of the implementation of this plan, to the National Council for Ecological Transition, axis by axis. The Council will issue an opinion, which the Ministry "hopes will be favourable".

"The assessment is slightly different if we look at the five areas of the PNACC, as they did not include the same number of measures. But we can say that the progress record is similar in percentage terms".

Asked about the remaining 20% of actions, the MTE states that "there are no laggards. Some measures were earmarked to start in 2025, others to start later. There are no delays".
