Haifa Group: "We develop 'nutrigation' solutions to avoid over-fertilisation " (Motti Levin, CEO)

"We don't produce commodities. Our attitude is diametrically opposed to that of the 'normal' fertiliser industry, which promotes the large-scale use of fertilisers. We believe in the need to reduce fertilisation, to apply only what the crop needs. Over-fertilisation destroys the soil and water resources", Motti Levin, CEO of the Haifa Group, told News Tank on 17/02/2026.

On 10/02/2026, Motti Levin was in France to visit the site of the Haifa Group's next plant, located in Arles (Bouches-du-Rhône / Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region) and dedicated to the production of controlled-release fertilisers, or CRFs, for the French and European markets. It complements the Lunel plant (Hérault / Occitanie region) built in 2014, which will be responsible for exports to markets outside Europe.
