Great British Energy-Nuclear: 5 non-executive Directors appointed to the Board

Five non-executive Directors are appointed to the board of Great British Energy-Nuclear (GBE-N), announced the Government delivery body dedicated to supporting the development of new nuclear technologies in the UK, on 16/02/2026.

Are appointed to the board :
• David Goldstone CBE, a senior leader in government finance and major programme delivery ;
• Richard Morse, an investment banker ;
• Gareth Price, an energy and infrastructure lawyer ;
• Tracy Sheedy, an experienced Chief People Officer
• and Rebecca Weston, a senior nuclear leader.

This announce came after the publication of the "Advanced Nuclear Framework" on 04/02, "the most ambitious civil nuclear programme in half a century", according to the Government.

The non‑executive directors "will support the Chair, Simon Bowen, and the incoming Chief Executive, Simon Roddy, providing independent oversight and constructive challenge as GBE-N delivers the first Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in Europe at Wylfa in North Wales and continues to advise government on the UK nuclear programme", the organisation said.
