Corimer: Marie Thabard (Iberdrola France) appointed Chairman

Marie Thabard, Director of Offshore Operations at Iberdrola France, has been appointed President of the Research and Innovation Steering Committee for the Marine Industry Sector (Corimer), the committee announced on 16/02/2026. She succeeds Carine Tramier, who has held the post since 01/01/2022.

"This appointment should enable Corimer to continue its work at a time when the French maritime industry is being called upon to speed up its transformation, strengthen its competitiveness and step up its innovation efforts, particularly to meet the major challenges of ecological transition and decarbonisation".

Marie Thabard holds a master's degree in marine biological sciences from the Institut Universitaire de la Mer and a PhD in marine biology from the University of Portsmouth (UK). She joined Impact Mer in 2011, first as a marine environment researcher, then as a prospecting manager.
