Trump administration's climate repeal: "Every person and business in the U.S. should be alarmed" (WRI)

"Effective immediately, we are repealing the ridiculous 'endangerment finding' and terminating all additional green emission standards imposed unnecessarily on vehicle models and engines between 2012 and 2027 and beyond". This Obama-era 2009 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) 'endangerment finding', "established after years of scientific analysis, concluded that greenhouse gas pollution is a danger to human health and requires regulation under the Clean Air Act", the World Resources Institute said.

"With the finding repealed, EPA is no longer legally obligated to regulate hazardous greenhouse gases from sources like cars and power plants", stressed the organization.
