Call for application for the EU Organic Awards 2026 now open until 26/04/2026

The DG Agri of the EU Commission announces the launch of the EU Organic Awards 2026 on 10/02/2026. Applications for the seven awards will be open until 26/04/2026.

Organised by the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Committee of the Regions, COPA-COGECA and IFOAM Organics Europe, the Organic Awards are intended for organic farmers, businesses in the organic food chain and cities or regions promoting organic production or serving organic meals.

Seven awards will be distributed for this fifth edition:
• Best organic farmer, destined to reward one male and one female farmer;
• Best organic region or bio-district;
• Best organic city;
• Best organic food processing SME;
• Best organic SME food retailer;
• Best organic SME restaurant or food service.

The award is not a financial prize, but rather a recognition, and the winners will benefit from enhanced public visibility for their project. The awards decision will be taken in June 2026 and the awards ceremony will take place on 23/09/2026.
