Investigation in the EU wind power market: "Goldwind will cooperate with the revelant EU authorities"

"Goldwind will cooperate with the relevant European Union authorities throughout the investigation in accordance with all applicable legal procedures", declared the company in a statement on 04/02/2026.

On 03/02, the European Commission announced the opening of "an in-depth investigation into Goldwind's activities in the production and sale of wind turbines and the provision of related services within the EU, under the Foreign Subsidies Regulation ('FSR')".

The Commission had "preliminary concerns that Goldwind may have been granted foreign subsidies that could distort the EU internal market".

In the statement, Goldwind said that the company "consistently places compliance at the core of its global operations. In all markets where it operates, including the European Union, Glodwind is committed to maintaining robust corporate governance and internal control systems while strictly adhering to international rules and local laws and regulations".
