FR / Ministry for Ecological Transition: A. Elfassi, Deputy Head of the General Environmental Law Office

Alice Elfassi is the new deputy head of the general environmental law office at the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the lawyer announced on Linkedin on 03/02/2026.

Reporting to Karine Rachel, she succeeds Nolwenn Pilliant, who has been deputy head of the general environmental law office since August 2023.

Alice Elfassi is a graduate of Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in environmental law, and of Aix-Marseille Université in international and European environmental law.

In 2017, she began her career at RTE as an environment and public procurement lawyer. In 2020, she joined the French association Zero Waste France as head of legal affairs, before becoming head of waste prevention for the French city planning office Plaine Commune in 2023.

Since 2024, she has worked as a lawyer in the general environmental law office of the French Ministry for Ecological Transition.
