TotalEnergies and Tikehau Capital are creating a joint investment platform "to support the deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in urban public spaces in Belgium and the Netherlands", announced the two companies on 04/02/2026.

This new structure, "owned equally by TotalEnergies and Tikehau Capital, aims to:
• continue the development of public concessions already under construction or operated by TotalEnergies in several major Belgian and Dutch cities;
• respond to new calls for tenders, which will strengthen the public electric recharging offer of municipalities in Belgium and the Netherlands".

"TotalEnergies will also take advantage of its partnership with Tikehau Capital to strengthen its business model in electric mobility, thanks to Tikehau Capital's capital contribution and the sharing of investments, costs and risks".

TotalEnergies states that it operates:
• "more than 500 recharging points in Belgium, where the group is the market leader;
• 18,000 recharging points in the Netherlands, where the group is one of the country's leading players".
