Ming Yang Smart Energy: Tobias Stäb appointed Chief Commercial Officer for Europe

Tobias Stäb is appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Ming Yang Smart Energy Europe, announced the Chinese wind turbine manufacturer on 02/02/2026.

Graduated from the Universität Heidelberg in chemistry, from FernUniversität in Hagen in business administration and holder of a PhD in chemistry, Tobias Stäb started at BASF as researcher and laboratory manager in 2005.

He then became a staff member to the president, focusing on research management and controlling. He subsequently became an expert in corporate technology, head of operational excellence and finally a senior manager in renewable energy. From January 2022 to January 2026, he was Director of Partnering and JV Management.

"As CCO, Tobias Stäb will be responsible for commercial strategy, market development, key customer relationships and the commercial interface to project execution, working closely with our European teams and our global organization", specifies Horatio Evers, CEO of Ming Yang Europe.
