Carbone Farmers: 184 494 carbon credits sold and 2000 farmers supported during the year 2025 in France

More than 2,000 farmers and livestock breeders have been helped to transition to regenerative agriculture, according to the Carbone Farmers 2025 impact report published by the ecological transition audit and consultancy firm on 28/01/2026. A total of 184 494 carbon credits for farmers were sold last year.

Carbone Farmers includes three French farming cooperatives: Prospérité Fermière, Unéal and Tereos. The company's portfolio includes 48 mixed crop and livestock farms. According to the company, projects have saved or sequestered more than 630,000 kt CO₂ over their lifetime and secured more than €11m (carbon credits and industry premiums).

" Our projects contribute to seven of the 17 SDGs defined by the United Nations, to be achieved by 2030. They combine food security, population health, water conservation, equitable economic growth, the fight against climate change, the protection of biodiversity and responsible production", says the company.
