€600 M investment to deploy 24.000 zero-emission vehicles in Europe (Leasys/EIB deal)

"Leasys, the joint venture between French-American-Italian carmaker Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility (subsidiary of the French bank Crédit Agricole), and the European Investment Bank, signed a €600 M financing agreement to support the Pan-European Clean Fleet Transport operation, aimed at promoting sustainable mobility in Europe", they announced on 13/01/2026.

The financing consists of a €300 M credit envelope from the European Investment Bank and an equivalent €300 M from Leasys. The financing will support the Pan-European Clean Fleet Transport project, which foresees the deployment of a fleet of 24.000 zero-emission vehicles across ten European countries, including Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and Portugal.

The initiative is expected to contribute to lower greenhouse gas emissions, improved air quality, and reduced noise levels in urban environments. Furthermore, the project aims to support the development of Europe's clean-mobility value chain, fostering innovation and accelerating the electrification of road transport.
