BW Energy Storage Systems (BW ESS): Emily Taylor appointed asset manager

Emily Taylor is appointed Asset manager of BW Energy Storage Systems (part of BW Group), announced the company on 05/01/2026.

"Emily joined the battery energy storage sector in early 2023 and has since developed comprehensive experience in asset management - overseeing both the technical and commercial performance of one of the largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolios in Europe", BW ESS said.

"Previously at Harmony Energy, Emily managed all aspects of operational BESS portfolios, bridging technical performance with commercial strategy. Her role combined strong analytical capability with practical, hands-on knowledge of energy storage operations".

Emily Taylor began her career working at a start-up fintech company as a data analyst, before entering the renewables sector. She holds a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Strathclyde.
