Astronergy, 1^st Chinese PV company ranked among the top 1% of sustainable companies worldwide (Ecovadis)

Astronergy, a Chinese photovoltaic company, received the Platinum rating under the sustainability certification of EcoVadis on 06/01/2026. Founded in 2006, the group obtained a score of 86 out of 100 in the latest assessment by the French ESG rating company. It is the first Chinese photovoltaic company to reach this level, placing it among the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide.

EcoVadis awards four categories of medals: Platinum for the top 1% of companies, Gold for the top 5%, Silver for the top 15%, and Bronze for the top 35%. To be eligible, companies must score at least 30 out of 100 across four areas: environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and sustainable procurement. EcoVadis assesses more than 150,000 companies worldwide.

Astronergy’s results place it in the top 1% in each category, with scores of 90 in environment, 87 in ethics, 85 in labour and human rights, and 83 in sustainable procurement.
