Lene Hellstern has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Wind Power Lab, announced the Danish company on 05/01/2026. She succeeds to Anders Ropke, founder and former CEO since 2016.

"With more than 24 years of experience across global onshore and offshore wind markets, Lene Hellstern brings a strong track record of building and leading high-performing technical teams, delivering complex projects, and translating deep technical expertise into scalable operational and commercial solutions", Wind Power Lab said.

David Fletcher, CEO of the GEV Group (which includes the Wind Power Lab division), is looking forward to seeing Lene Hellstern "drive the business forward as the global partner of choice for blade risk assessment, turbine management, and consultancy".

According to Lene Hellstern, "wind energy is central to the green energy transition, and by combining technical excellence with innovative, risk-adjusted maintenance solutions, we can continue to optimise performance, reduce costs and enable the next generation of onshore and offshore projects."
