"With an estimated average temperature of around 14.0°C, i.e. an anomaly of +1.0°C compared with the 1991-2020 normal, 2025 will rank as the 4th or 3rd warmest year ever recorded in France since measurements began in 1900, behind 2022 and 2023 and ahead of 2024", says Météo-France in its 2025 climate report, published on 15/12/2025.
