Jules Korstenhorst has been appointed as co-chair of the Energy Transitions Commission, alongside Adair Turner, announced the think-tank on 10/12/2025. It was founded in 2015, with Jules Korstenhorst among the founding Commissioners. Since 2024, he is CEO of Bridge Carbon, a London-based carbon project developer.

A Dutch national, Jules Korstenhorst holds a Master's degree in Monetary Economics and a MBA from Harvard Business School. He started his career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey in 1983, and has held various positions in the energy and carbon markets sectors since then.
