European Sustainable Energy Awards: open call until 29/01/2026, winners to be awarded at the 2026 EUSEW

The call for applications to the European Sustainable Energy Awards is open until 29/01/2026. These awards celebrate people, projects, and initiatives that contribute to Europe's energy transition and to the Clean Industrial Deal.

The Sustainable Energy Awards will be awarded at a ceremony during the European Sustainable Energy Week, which will take place in Brussels, from 9 to 11/06/2025. This event, organised by the European Commission's DG for Energy and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), is an annual event dedicated to energy efficiency and renewables in Europe. It will gather industrials, policy experts, civil society members, and academia.

There are three categories to apply to:

• SMEs driving energy efficiency: this new category, replacing the previous "innovation" category, is addressed to SMEs advancing energy efficiency solutions in buildings and industry.
