Energy transition crowdfunding: French actor Enerfip acquires Dutch platform Duurzaam Investeren

Enerfip announced the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Duurzaam Investeren, a Dutch participative financing platform, on 10/12/2025.

"This is a platform that is very similar to Enerfip," says Julien Hostache, chairman of Enerfip, to News Tank. Founded in 2013, Duurzaam Investeren has raised 395 M€ and financed 340 renewable energy projects since its creation. "The Dutch have a well-established financial and investment culture and significant investment capacity. The country is focused on the energy transition, with a population sensitive to ecological and environmental issues. The Netherlands is also one of the main crowdfunding markets in Europe", he added.

The acquisition is part of the French platform’s European expansion strategy. The group operates in France, Spain and Italy and generates 30% of its activity outside France. "Our goal is to be present in 10 European countries by 2030 and to be able to raise 400 M€ in 2025, compared with around 170 M€ today," says Julien Hostache.
