Biosolutions: "The main obstacle is the lack of agronomic experience" (N. Fillon, De Sangosse)

"I'd be delighted if we could speed up the overall approval process. But our current portfolio and the potential it offers for growth are already sufficient. We need to work on these solutions first. There have been several examples of compounds being withdrawn, leaving farmers in great disarray as they find themselves in a technical impasse […]. The regulatory issue is important, but the main obstacle is the lack of agronomic experience with biosolution technologies to learn how to use them properly", Nicolas Fillon, Managing Director of De Sangosse, told News Tank on 03/12/2025.

On 28/10/2025, the agrochemicals group presented its strategic roadmap to 2030, including innovation and research projects. These include the development of a new R&D centre near Toulouse (Haute-Garonne / Midi-Pyrénées region), with a total financing of €12M. This centre will bring together all the Group's technologies (kairomones, pheromones, phytotherapy, biostimulants and biofertilisers) to speed up the marketing of new solutions.
