EU: Launch of a public consultation on climate resilience until 23/02/2026

To gather feedbacks from every European stakeholders on climate resilience: this is the aim of the public consultation launched on the Have Your Say portal of the Commission, on 01/12/2025. Following the call for evidence collection performed during summer 2025, this new consultation will inform the work and objectives of the future EU Framework on climate resilience, set for adoption in late 2026.

Results of the call for evidence showed "strong support for bold action, with participants calling for ‘resilience by design’ in our policies, harmonised climate risk assessments, nature-based solutions as a first line of defence, stable long-term adaptation funding, and consideration of climate-related health impacts", stated the Commission.

Citizens, associations, regional authorities and stakeholders are all invited by the Commission to provide their views, insights and feedbacks about climate resilience, through a comprehensive questionnaire available online.

The public consultation is open from 01/12/2025 to 23/02/2026.
