Global Green Growth Institute / CIFOR-ICRAF: extension of partnership on nature-positive investments

To combine their strengths in the scientific research and the policy advisory, in order to accelerate Nature-Positive Investments for Forests and Landscapes on a global level: this is the goal of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) renewed between the GGGI (Global Green Growth Institute) and the CIFOR-ICRAF (Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry), as they announced on 18/11/2025. This announcement was made on the margins of the UNFCCC, which started on 10/11/2025 in Belém (Brazil).

“CIFOR-ICRAF brings world-class scientific research, modelling, and spatial analysis, while GGGI offers trusted policy advisory roles, institutional capacity building, and a commitment to delivering bankable project outcomes,” said Beria Leimona, CIFOR-ICRAF Theme Leader, Climate Change, Energy and Low-Carbon Development.
