"Financing Nature: A Practitioner's Guide to Results Metrics Selection": this is the title of a practical guide to accelerate investment in nature, published by a group of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), announced the EIB (European Investment Bank) Group, one of the partners, on 14/11/2025 at COP30 in Belém (Brazil). Partners include the IDB (Inter-American Development) Bank Group, as well as the AIIB (Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank) and the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).

This guidance is designed to help project developers, governments, financial institutions, as well as investors, to turn nature ambition into measurable and finance-ready outcomes aligned with global biodiversity and climate objectives.

“Nature-positive investments are essential for achieving climate and economic resilience objectives. The guidance we are launching today is a key step toward ensuring that mobilised financial flows deliver real and lasting benefits for people, climate, and biodiversity,” said Ambroise Fayolle, EIB Vice-President.
