"With our contest, we are rewarding elected representatives who have carried out renewable electricity, wind and photovoltaic projects, and who are good ambassadors for explaining their achievements. The idea is to share a story, to tell what they have done and the results, to get people talking positively about renewable energies and to explain that, contrary to the discourse we hear, which is more ideological criticism, in reality renewable energies are an opportunity", consultant Michèle Pappalardo told News Tank on 12/11/2025.

Michèle Pappalardo, former president of the French agency Ademe (2003-2008), is president of the jury for the Trophées des élus de l'électricité renouvelable (Renewable Electricity Awards for Elected Representatives) organised by France Renouvelables. The results of the fourth edition of the Awards will be unveiled on 18/11/2025.
