"French airports between competitiveness and energy transition" is the theme running through the 7th Congress of the Union des Aéroports Français et Francophones Associés (UAF & FA) on 28/11/2025 at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris 7ᵉ.

In a "context of profound changes for the aviation sector, the UAF & FA 2025 Congress will be devoted to two major and topical themes. The first will focus on the energy transition, in particular on issues relating to the new energies that aviation will imperatively need to succeed in its ecological transformation. The second theme will focus on the competitiveness of French airports in a context marked by unprecedented fiscal pressure, which translates into an irreversible loss of air connectivity for France and its territories", indicated the trade organisation chaired by Thomas Juin on 03/11/2025.

The role of airport hubs in France's "tourism ambitions" and the modernisation of air traffic control are also part of the morning's work programme.
