Launch of a €100 M nature restoration fund by Ardian and threee major development finance institutions

Thanks to €100 M committed by three development banks (EIB, BII and Proparco), the Averrhoa NBS fund, launched and overseen by Ardian's Infrastructure team in partnership with aDryada, a specialist developer of ecosystem restoration project, will enable to reforest and restore a large selection of mangroves and wetlands across South America, Asia and Africa, announced the investment fund at the launch of its new fund, on 12/11/2025.

Building on Ardian's Nature-Based Solutions, and aligned with the firm's broader decarbonisation agenda, the Averrhoa NBS fund aims at providing carbon credit to corporates in their decarbonisation strategy. It will enable the sequestration of 85 Mt of carbon from the atmosphere over a 40 year’ period.
