FR / launch of Agri2050, a " non-unionised farmers' network ", by The Shift Project on 29/11/2025

The Agri2050 project, launched by The Shift Project, aims to create a non-partisan, non-unionised network of farmers to unite around the agricultural transition and to develop solutions from the ground up.

The launch event will take place on 29/11/2025 at a farm in Orsigny (Essonne, Île-de-France), the think tank announced on 06/11/2025.

According to The Shift Project, the objective of this network is to foster calm and constructive dialogue among professionals, build consensus for a more effective transition in agriculture, and expand the discussion by avoiding polarisation and ideological divisions.

In the medium term, the organisation sees this initiative as a way to bring the concerns and proposals of farmers into the public debate. National and local meetings will complement the online discussions.

The launch event will be attended by Jean-Marc Jancovici, Chairman of The Shift Project, Théophile Letierce, farmer at the Orsigny farm, and Caroline Doucerain, President of the Terre & Cité association, which works to preserve and develop agricultural and natural land on the Saclay…
