FR / Wind power: 42 winners for the 10^th period of the PPE2 call for tender

952.8 MW, for an initial power demand of 925 MW: this is the cumulative capacity of the 42 projects selected under the 10^th period of the PPE2 (Multiannual Energy Framework 2019/2028) onshore wind call for tenders, News Tank learned on 04/11/2025.

A total of 90 applications were submitted between 30/06 and 11/07/2025, for a cumulative capacity of 1635.7 MW.
The weighted average price reached 86.6 €/MWh, compared with 87.61 €/MWh for the ninth period of the call.

The Grand Est (11 projects; 238 MW), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (3 projects; 146 MW) and Hauts-de-France (9 projects; 135 MW) regions recorded the highest volumes. According to Envinergy, five players secured more than 50% of the awarded volume, each with more than 80 MW: Boralex with two projects totalling 124.8 MW, WPD with three projects totalling 116 MW, TotalEnergies with four projects totalling 111.6 MW, H2 Air with three projects totalling 92.85 MW and An Avel Braz with four projects totalling 88.5 MW. In total, 25 players were selected, including five for the first time.
