FR: "We have convinced the world that nuclear power is part of the solution" (Roland Lescure, minister)

"Look what we have achieved in two years! We have manage to convince the world that nuclear power is part of the solution in the fight against climate change. One word must now be emphasised: innovation, which will be a key factor for the next three decades", stated Roland Lescure, French Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty, on 04/11/2025.
He was giving the opening speech of the World Nuclear Event at the Villepinte exhibition centre (Seine-Saint-Denis), held from 04 to 06/11/2025.,WNE is an event on the civil nuclear sector organised by the French association Gifen (Groupement des Industriels Français de l'Energie Nucléaire). The themes for this edition are "Nuclear power, today and tomorrow" and "Electricity and beyond". Around 25,000 visitors and 1,100 exhibitors from more than 80 countries are expected.
