Mirova: €10 M investment in ReGeneration's project to accelerate the agroecological transition in France

Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers dedicated to sustainable investment, completes its first carbon investment in France, amounting to €10M, to support the project developed by the French start-up ReGeneration, announced the two companies on 28/10/2025.

The financing will enable 3400 farmers to adopt regenerative practices across 500 mha, thanks to ReGeneration accompanying framework. Farmers will receive tailored agronomic support over five years and participate in a revenue-sharing mechanism from the sale of high quality, high integrity carbon credits. These carbon credits will ensure them a fair remuneration while offering traceability to the buyers under the Verra VM0042 methodology.

ReGeneration’s project aims to demonstrate and highlight all the benefits of regenerative agriculture, leveraging robust and verifiable field data in various fields, including biodiversity, soil health, carbon sequestration, water quality, agronomic pathways, yields, and economic resilience.
