FR / De Sangosse: €12M invested in a global R&D centre dedicated to biosolutions in the Occitanie region

“Right now, about 8% of our surface area uses biocontrols and biosolutions. We can easily raise that to 16% with the same product portfolio. It will require some adjustments at programme level, but we have to move beyond the idea that ‘Product A replaces Product B’. We need a broader approach, starting with soil life, biostimulation, biofertilisation and biocontrol solutions,” said Nicolas Fillon, CEO of French company De Sangosse, on 28/10/2025.

That same day, the group unveiled its 2030 strategic roadmap, including its innovation and research plans. These include building a new R&D centre near Toulouse (Haute-Garonne / Occitanie région). With a total investment of €12m, the site will bring together all the group’s technologies (pheromones, phytotherapy, biostimulants and biofertilisers) to speed up the development of new solutions.

“We’ve already started work on this project, which will become the global hub for the De Sangosse group’s biosolutions R&D, currently involving 18 subsidiaries worldwide,” added Nicolas Fillon. The centre is expected to be operational in 2027. By 2030…
