The 200 members of the Alliance for Zero-Emission Aviation (AZEA) held their 6th General Assembly at EUROCONTROL in Brussels on 27/10/2025, during which they discussed the latest developments and the next steps towards zero-emission aviation in Europe.
The main objective of the 6th General Assembly of AZEA was to present the ongoing work, on a first drat, on a Roadmap for the zero-emission aviation ecosystem. "This is a major step towards implementing the vision for electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft launched by the European Commission's DG Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) in June 2024’, declared ACI EUROPE (Airports Council International). The final version of the Roadmap is expected to be adopted by the Alliance by the first quarter of 2026.
The event also included external presentations on zero-emission aviation, implementation projects, and other linked initiatives, including from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (CAA Norway) and Swedavia.
