Sébastien Clerc has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of InnoEnergy with effect from 01/01/2026, the European energy transition investment company announced on 23/10/2025.

He takes over from Diego Pavia, who has headed InnoEnergy since its creation in 2010. He will continue to carry out specific tasks within the company until 2029.

"InnoEnergy's shareholders have unanimously appointed Sébastien Clerc, praising his experience in the energy transition, his track record as an investor and his ability to raise finance", says the company.

Sébastien Clerc, former CEO of Voltalia (2011-2025), will be tasked with implementing a growth plan to 2030. "Over the next five years, InnoEnergy intends to help new industrial champions emerge by accelerating the development of more than 160 existing investments in clean technologies and supporting new companies, while strengthening its academic and training activities. The aim is to contribute fully to Europe's low-carbon industrial ambitions", according to the company. It will mobilise up to €160 B of investment in clean technologies to finance…
