"The European Scientific Advisory Board on Climate Change (ESABCC) advised that a 90-95% net domestic reduction of GHG until 2040 compared to the 1990 baseline is necessary to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. These researchers come from research centres and universities from all across Europe. Among the signatories are Valérie Masson-Delmotte (Member of the High Council for Climate), Christophe Cassou (CNRS), and Jean Jouzel (Vice-President of the GIEC working group from 2002 to 2015).
