The 2026 edition of FOWT (Floating Offshore Wind Turbines) will take place in Montpellier (France) from 24 to 26/03/2026.

This event is the largest in the world to be dedicated to floating offshore wind energy. Organised by Pôle Mer Méditerranée and France Renouvelables, their ambition for this edition is 'to propose a redesigned format, enriched content and in-depth discussions, in order to meet the challenges of a sector that is reaching full maturity and playing an increasingly important role in the global energy transition'.

'Floating offshore wind is no longer just a promise. It is now a strategic pillar of the renewable energy mix, capable of producing several gigawatts of decarbonised electricity, supporting large-scale decarbonisation, and strengthening energy security for future generations. Its potential is considerable, and its time has come', say the organisers.
