FR: 2026 Budget: "The ecological transition always ends up being the adjustment variable" (J-F Debat)

'We have obtained a presentation of the draft Budget for 2026. The situation is alarming. For several years now, we have had the feeling that, when it comes to public decision-making, taking account of the challenges of ecological transition — as reflected in our public environmental policies on water, waste and energy — has been the variable used for adjustments.
