FR: Edouard Clauss appointed Chief of Staff to the deputy Minister for Ecological Transition

Edouard Clauss has been appointed Chief of Staff to Mathieu Lefèvre, deputy Minister for Ecological Transition, attached to Monique Barbut, Minister for Ecological Transition, Biodiversity and International Negotiations on Climate and Nature, according to an order dated 14/10/2025, published in the Journal officiel on 15/10/2025. He took up his post on 13/10/2025.

Edouard Clauss previously worked as a parliamentary assistant to Mathieu Lefèvre when the latter was MP for the Val-de-Marne department (Ile-de-France), between June 2022 and October 2025. He was also a civil servant attached to the head of the Home Office of the Minister of the Interior, responsible for travel, between June 2021 and June 2022.
